Hampton Beach
Handicapped Accessibility Information

Since Vermont does not have an ocean coastline we go to Hampton Beach, New Hampshire. Hampton Beach has done a great job with accessibility for handicap people. It is such a wonderful beach to go to! The state of New Hampshire is also always trying to improve Hampton Beaches accessibility.

Everyone knows that wheels and sand don't mix... unless, that is, you have a handy beach mat walkway that leads right on down to the ocean, like the ones at Hampton Beach.  Fast, efficient and wheelchair friendly, these are great for strollers and wagons too!

Hampton Beach even has handicap accessible sand wheelchairs that help you get down to the beach
safer and easier!
Here is a link of a story on this.

The Hampton Beach boardwalk is also handicap accessible because it has a built in wheelchair ramp on
the high level so that wheelchair users can get up to the boardwalk without having any struggle

Hampton Beach also has free handicap parking on all metered spaces with a valid handicap placard
